Napalmeon the Conquering is a creature in the Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters series.

Description[]

Napalmeon the Conquering was Infernus the Immolator's second-in-command. After Napalmeon died and Infernus sacrificed himself to help create the Veil, Skycrusher assumed control over the Fire Civilization. Napalmeon is seen as a great hero of the Fire Civilization.

The reasons of his death are unknown, but in Bring Me The Head of Tatsurion the Unchained it was revealed that he was most likely killed in battle.

Personality[]

Napalmeon was not the best father to Tatsurion: not even acknowledging the young hybrid as his own son nor lifting a claw to aide him when his pure-blooded dragon children tormented him in his youth. He did, however, see to it that Tatsurion had an extensive education in martial combat and strategy, obviously wanting him to be strong.

It bears mentioning that Napalmeon did take Headstrong Wanderer as his mate and apparently was not secretive about it as all of his family and many others are aware of Tatsurion's heritage. Dragons tend to have a powerful sense of racial power and purity. The reasoning behind this action is further obscured by the fact that Headstrong Wanderer's race is a particularly non-combative breed of Nature creature.

Napalmeon was also formidable enough that even his relatives feared the former.

Plot[]

In Like Father, Like Son, Ray learned about Bob's history from the latter at the time when he, Ray and Carny ended up in the Fire Civilization.

In Bring Me the Head of Tatsurion the Unchained, he appears in one of Tatsurion's flashbacks, and it is revealed that he was somehow killed in action.

Trivia[]

  • His name is a reference to, as well as a portmanteau of, Napoleon Bonaparte and napalm.
  • According to Headstrong Wanderer, Tatsurion following his evolution now looks like Napalmeon.
  • In the episode Bring me the Head of Tatsurion the Unchained, Napalmeon is seen dining with dragons that were summoned in the previous episode. However, it is unknown if they are really his children.
