The Nature of Things: Part 1 is the 15th episode of season 1 in the Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters series.
Summary[]
To protect Bob’s Quillspike family from a massive attacking creature, the kids go to the Nature Realm and duel in an arena competition to win the Shield of Unity, an artifact that compels all other tribes to help whichever tribe possesses it.
Plot[]
While Ray is about to duel Master Chavez, Master Chavez summons Mighty Shouter to duel Tatsurion, Shouter mocks Tatsurion and reveals to him that the Quillspike Tribe is being attacked by a large creature. Ray persuades his creature to go and protect his family. When they meet his family, Midnight Crawler reveals himself and eats the tribe's land and fights Earthstomp Giant as well as eating his hand and then retreats back into the waters.
Ray and Tatsurion then fight for the Shield of Unity and defeat many creatures, including Roaming Bloodmane and Mighty Shouter.
Nearing the last duel Allie notices that the 'snow guy' seems to be Alakshmi Verma after she sees The Choten. She summons Squeaky and asks her to blow the snow guy's cover off, she does and the snow guy is revealed to be Saguru. The episode continues in the next part.
