- Q: If my opponent doesn’t have 3 creatures with the appropriate powers, can I still cast Dragon’s Breath?
- A: Yes. You always follow as many of the instructions as you can. You can use Dragon’s Breath to banish 1 or 2 creatures, as long as they have the right power.
- Q: My opponent has an Essence Elf that has power 1000 and “Nature’s Gift — Each of your other creatures gets +1000 power.” My opponent also has a creature that has printed power 3000, so its current power is 4000. Can I banish the Essence Elf first as a “creature that has power 1000 or less” and then the other creature as a “creature that has power 3000 or less”?
- A: No. You must choose the enemy creatures in order, starting with a creature that has power 3000 or less. You’ll banish the first creature before choosing and banishing the second creature, and you’ll do that before choosing and banishing the third creature.
